Right then, rockers, let's get to it! Smashing its way to our #47 spot is "Song 2" by indie rockers, Blur.
"Song 2" (sometimes mistakenly titled as "Woo Hoo") is the second track from Blur's 1997 eponymous fifth studio album. Released in April 1997, "Song 2" reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, number four on the Australian ARIA Charts, and number six on US Billboard Alternative Songs. "Song 2" is one of the most recognisable rock songs ever made, and it is currently ranked #4 on Ranker's list of 100 Greatest Rock Songs Of The 90s.
Blur have cracked our top 50 (something Oasis couldn't quite achieve), but should "Song 2" be on our list? This entry will no doubt divide opinion in this group, but please, keep it clean, and debate nicely...
